today was flag day lahh
on my way to school
saw some other school already collecting donations
which was very early
about 7
kiasu people
....

anyway
yeah
as usual my group (me, samuel, nicholas cheng, ignatius, weiliang, yeow chien) was the last to leave school..
so we went to this bukit batok west shopping centre
unfortunately
this year
*the other school* was early
and our results werent as good
so we left
went to boon lay interchange with accordance to tradition
saw some people in full-u
o.0
and their uniform was like
how to say..
sloppy...

so we proceeded with our collection
weiliang samuel and ignatius wanted to try outside the library
apparently
it was the wrong choice
they gave up and took a bus to some place in jurong west
another wrong desicion
luckily the 3 of us stayed at the interchange

there were many people that donated
and even more that didnt
and competition was stiff
and this yeow chien was Gay
all he did was just stand there
and he got so maNy donations
???
probably because he his white and chubby xD

i would also like to 7hank this very generous person
who apparently came all the way down to the interchange
just to donate
6 bucks
2 bucks each to the 3 of us
hehh ;)

then weiliang and the other 2 came back
with hardly any noticeable change in the amount they collected
lolololololololololollololol
so they got so desperate
this samuel and ignatius resorted to doing weird and funny things
in order to get the donations
it was so funny
the people coming out of the bus
many of them were like laughing
and the other schools were staring at them
lol

so we stopped at about 1230
and went back to school

btw, nicholas drank 5 cans of Coke!
and all the smoke i breathed in at the interchange
might have caused my brain cells to die
unable to think x0

today was elearn day
which kind of sucked

anyway
i finally found it!


and tomorrow is th Stjohn flag day
must donate lots of $$ okay?

flag day ends at 1330h
i will be at Bukit Batok West Shopping Centre (the market) then i will go to Boon Lay Bus Interchange

back from *endurance* camp!

we were so lucky
had field cooking for both days
and both days it rained :o

so our bunks were at the holee service block
in a way, its scary to sleep there at night
scary in a way
thinking the building could collapse anytime
cos when someone walk on the corridor
the floor vibrate like *omg*
not sure whether this is normal
but yeah..
its a old building

during the camp

it became clear that Advance Course Camp is easier

AC ~WOOOOSSH!!!

yesterday was comp
went wif nabil Chongyou Weijie Weihao Mingzhe Weilinag CK Amirul
to the concourse
the 'war' bag was so freakin heavy
so we made mingzhe (who is outside AC) to carry it
wahahahahaha

so we reached lavender MRT
and we saw the bunch of sec 2 helpers
all of them late
just because they waiting for that chiahui
wth
just because of him, make ALL of them late?
so CK told them
"the next train from boon lay is 1min away
if chiahui not on that train,
you all just go HQ dont care about him"
*problem settled*
'sacrifice 1 to save all'

so we walked to the concourse
and had a rude shock
the concourse shopping mall had closed down
wth
so
we went to some place at the back of concourse
to polish boots
so one will be able to see a bunch of people polishing boots
so i polish boots until very shiny
yay
so time passed
and it was time to change into full-u
and thats the problem
Concourse is ClosED
thats the place where we always change
so
aiya no choice la
go to that building across the road
but W0W
the toilet was Big! compared to concourse
blessing in disguise???
lol

so we when back to concourse
when crossing the road
jia jie ask benjamin (who was crossing to the other side0
whether he know where the toilet is
benjamin said 'no' but still stupidly went on without asking where the is toilet
so after that we took team photos
us, being the Ambulance team
did silly things when we took photos
eg 'SUPERMAN'
lolz
then CK and Audrey make us fall in for uniform inspection
then after that they saluted us
their expressions were grave
like we were going to a suicide mission
no offense XD

then we went to hq
at the carpark
we saw Woodlands Sec AC Team practicing footdrill
when Chongyou saw that
he said
'ONE down...'
and we learnt that teckwhye and bukit merah not sending AC too
*relieved*
heard that teckwhye 1st aid damn *zai*
and bukit merah..
well
they good in everythng
so its 4 down including riverside which didnt send AC
then we were told to report
so we took out own bags and went in
totally forgetting the 'war' bag
lucky someone remembered
and so we went into the waiting room
and i saw si ling sec
another down
omg
so the real competition is between greenridge, chestnut drive and us
3 of us
zzz

apparently
there wasnt good planning so there werent enough seats
so the AC teams had to go to another room
zzz

so our 1st item is TOC (transportation of casualty)
we were FAST
but we did not do well
but the causualty was so light
and yeah
we used the REALLY old ambulance
that we didnt train on
so it was a bit different
yah
speed

then we went back to waiting room
samuel ask the waiting room IC wheter can take food
IC say yes
so amirul go take the bag
when the other teams in the room saw that
they were like
o.0
lol
so we stuffed ourselves silly
and yeah
we had this stewart called Fai

or next item was 1st aid long case
and went to the top floor
when we saw the scene
we saw only 3 casualties
'so few???'
omg
yah so we went in lah
and one of the judge kept stressing me out cause i forgot how to treat facial burns
the judge kept asking me what i should do
omg
stress stress stress
so i called nabil help me
lucky he remember how to treat
so
i was saved
as for sam's GL judge
go read his blog
so apparently
the judge kept saying 'very good'
;)

so back at the room
we continued to stuff ourselves
when IVAN sir came in and saw our bag
he asked
'you come for competiton or come for picnic???'
sam replied 'both'

i was trying to eat the oreo
then the IC told us to report to footdrill
then i was in a fluster
couldnt find the wet tissues to wipe my hand
okay so i found it
emptied my pockets desperately
and drank some stuff
and rushed out

amazingly
our footdrill was quite good
considering amirul was still unsure of the drills the day before comp
our biggest mistake was..
well
samuel gave 'besurai'
but he himself did 'keluar baris'
wth?
lucky finish reporting
so not counted
lucky............

then next was 1st aid short case
1 casualty
3 crowd
4 1st aiders
wth???
as expected
our crowd control failed
and 1 fainted
good
easier to manage

anyway
with all items complete
we went back to the room and ate
and ate
and ate

when we went to the toilet
the other teams threw their buns into our bag
omg
so we shared jokes
and laughed
we must have been the noisiest

so we went to the main waiting room for the prize presentation ceremony briefing
jerry ko sir was checking whether all the teams were present
he shouted 'NC1'
samuel heard it as AC1
and replied 'YES SIR'
omg
like that also can
walao

anyway

Champion : Riverside AA

Ambulance Cadet (AC) Category
2nd Runner up : Greenridge AC

Zone 6 First Aid & Home Nursing Competition
(actually it includes other components)

It was a beautiful sunrise last year
Today too..


last year comp team was victorious
with 2 runner ups and 2 champions
so what about today?
We've trained so hard
so far
what will be the outcome?
If we win today
it'll be good
but if we don't
we still hav another year to prove ourselves
so
